The London Irısh Amateur R.F.C. is coming to Istanbul for a match with Ottomans on 26th of May 2012. This match is a part of Licor Beirao European Veteran Rugby Series. Please check our website regularly to learn the whereabouts of the match and the after match events.

 It was an important game for Ottomans at the pool stage of Turkish Rugby League. The match Ottomans against Galatasaray Univesity (aka Fellas)has been played last weekend. The final score is 39-27, Ottomans won against a very strong opponent. We played against a very physical team, which pushed us to the limit. We scored 7 Tries and 2 conversions. Team:Sertaç (Cenk), Melih, Orhan (Yiğit), Oğuzhan, Cansın, Louis, Walker, Valerio, Deniz, Alistair, Özer (Ulaş), Samet, Salih, Gürhan (Yenof the wolf), Onur. Sub not used: Mustafa.Man of the Match:Man of the Match: Louis. A very close vote this week cause we have seen lots of great performances. But the "Fes" goes to Louis this time. Welcome to the club mate.Try scorers:Salih 4, Melih, Özer, Valerio.Salih also succesfuly kicked 2 of our 7 conversion attempts. An improvement from last two games. There was a yellow card to Onur for talking with the referee. A very solid performance from the forwards in rucks and especially good scrums at the first half. Good support both on the offense and defence. This was the first game with Ottomans for Louis and Oğuzhan. It was good to see old faces like Cenk and Yenof on the field again. Moment of the Game; Sertaç collecting the ball beautifuly and handing it back gently to give the opponent a great chance for try. It was priceless to see that innocent face on our gentle giant.
